Contact the Membership Secretary or Training Officer for details or just turn up at the Tudor Sailing Club on Thursday nights and we can arrange it (subject to availability).
BSAC/SSAC Fees:
The 3 main fees we ask for depend on your circumstances:

The fee is variable depending on your qualification. Details are here on the BSAC HQ website.
-
SSAC Club membership fee – Paid by the same BSAC HQ monthly DD. It covers: Club overheads, Maintenance of equipment and access to our Gas Station (at the Hilsea LIDO) for free compressed air to 300 bar and subsidised Nitrox, Oxygen and Helium, access to our RHIB (additional cost) and Club organised hard boat dives and expeditions. If you are an unqualified diver there will be an additional training fees to cover the cost of your initial training. (See below)
Crossover from another agency (PADI, SAA, TDI, RAID)
We welcome divers who have trained with other agencies but as an affiliated BSAC Club we require you to join BSAC where your present qualification will be recognised. As such the membership fee structure including HQ fee above applies. Should you wish to continue your diver training within the branch, BSAC has a crossover programme to allow you to fill in any training gaps or advance to the next higher BSAC qualification level. (See the BSAC HQ Welcoming Divers from other agencies guide).
Ocean Diver Course Fee
As an unqualified diver the BSAC entry level qualification is Ocean Diver. The Club training cost is £450. It includes the club joining fee and covers the cost of pool training sessions, Instructor costs and hire of Club equipment for the pool sessions and Open water training (except wet/drysuits). You will also be expected to pay for entry to any open water sites and transport/accommodation if away from the local area. For full details, see Ocean Diver Course.
Training Materials
You will also be expected to purchase a BSAC HQ Ocean Diver training course documentation set (which includes access to on-line training theory) and a Qualification Log book.
Crossover courses and training materials are additional and can be supplied by BSAC.
