To enrol on the BSAC Dive Leader course with Southsea Sub-Aqua Club, you must:

  • be 14 years or older
  • be a current full diving member of both the BSAC and Southsea Sub-Aqua Club
  • be considered "fit to dive"[1] and have completed the Sports Diver course or equivalent.
  • have completed twenty dives (which may include the open water lessons), in a range of conditions, since qualifying as a Sports Diver (or equivalent)
  • completed a minimum of 60 dives in total on qualification of which a minimum of 40 dives since Ocean Diver (or equivalent)
